BENEFICIARIES: 25 villages / districts of which 16 in the municipality of Nola and 9 in the municipality of Yobé-Sangha (approx. 12,922 people)

BACKGROUND: lack of hygiene and still practiced defecation in the open air, resulting in diseases such as cholera or diarrhea

OBJECTIVE: improvement of the sanitary situation and elimination of defecation in the open air

COURSE: establishment of 25 rural sanitary committees, distribution of kits for the construction / renovation of latrines, training in the subject of WASH with the participation of students (establishment of school hygiene clubs) and medical staff, campaigns for the protection of children and the importance of official birth reporting
